General Information PVC fittings are easy to install, light in weight and have smooth, interior walls. These are designed for domestic water applications. PVC Schedule 80 Pipe and Fitting System PVC Schedule 80 pipe and fittings are for pressure applications where the temperature will not exceed 140° F. Schedule 80 has a thicker wall than Schedule 40, therefore it has a higher pressure rating. Installation requires the use of both primer and solvent cement. ConnecTite ConnecTite products can make repair projects a snap by eliminating the need for additional products such as solvents or glue.
